One day after the nation celebrated Harvey Milk Day, we have learned that USA Network will be airing the powerful biopic “Milk” on June 1st in honor of Gay Pride Month. Bonnie Hammer, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment Group chairman announced the news about the Academy-Nominated film with a statement:
“Harvey Milk gave hope to generations of gay and lesbian Americans by encouraging them to live their lives openly and to speak out against the discrimination and prejudice they faced. We are honored to share his story in commemoration of Gay Pride Month.”
